Leah Austin has opened Vintage Per Sempre in Pokesdown

'SHE may be the tender age of 18. But that hasn't stopped Leah Austin from starting up her own business, running a shop selling vintage clothing and accessories.
She opened Vintage Per Sempre on the Christchurch Road in Pokesdown, after deciding last summer not to go to university. "I thought about doing fashion marketing and buying as a degree but I didn't know if there would be a job at the end of it," she says. "I wasn't sure the cost would be justified."
With student debts set to soar, a fifth of graduates out of work and the grimmest youth unemployment figures for a generation -- nearly one million under-25s are without jobs -- starting up on your own may be the only option for some young people...'
